Meet Bluey. Bluey is Lara's Tatty Puppy friend and is named after his iconic blue nose.
Tatty Puppy comes with an owner's certificate which graces Lara's bedside table - it records his name, date of birth and his favourite hobbies and tricks!
Lara's Tatty Puppy cost came with his own cardboard Kennel (which I found incredibly hard to fold together) and with a little collar that contains his unique code. We registered Bluey online using this unique code and unlocked a whole virtual world at mytoyoumyplace.com.
Lara is a bit young to appreciate metoyoumyplace.com which centers around a free-to-play online game were your puppy can explore his own virtual world and meet the other My Blue Nose Friends. Apart from the fact that the game seemed to require an incredible amount of internet bandwidth to execute, I was quite impressed with the quality of the game. For older children I can imagine many hours of fun exploring, seeing treasure, farming and looking after friends. You can also interact with other players you know and there are several small educational games as you go along. If you get really into the game you can subscribe for full membership for under a fiver a month to unlock new friends and locations.
Tatty Puppy costs £12.99 (the kennel and decorative collars cost extra) and can be bought from Clinton Cards and online at Carte Blanche.
You could be in with a chance of winning a Tatty Puppy all of your own. All you have to do is to leave me a comment on this post by the end of the 2nd November telling me what your favourite dog is. It doesn't have to be a real one - Odie (as in Garfield's friend) remains to this day my favourite dog!
